The cosmetic laser business can be an exciting place. New technologies, advances in treatment techniques and contributing to someone’s well being are all factors that can make a cosmetic laser career fulfilling. It’s no wonder that many of us have been in the business for a long time. Recently, we sat down with one of our own cosmetic laser professionals. Todd Seelman has spent 15 years in medical and aesthetic lasers.

Todd Seelman is the cosmetic laser professional responsible for Saint Louis and Kansas City, MO, Indianapolis and Southern, IN, Wichita and Kansas City, KS, Cosmetic Lasers Columbia and Springfield, IL, Cosmetic Lasers Southern IL.

Here’s what he had to say about Alma Lasers, its evolving product line and the cosmetic laser industry overall.

Alma: Thanks for your time, Todd. You came into aesthetic technology from a medical background, so what was the biggest surprise?

Todd Seelman: I was impressed with how much Alma Lasers was able to offer in one cosmetic laser system. The Harmony XL is a compact unit, but its size doesn’t sacrifice versatility. The system allows our customers to offer their patients more treatments and exceed their competition without multiple devices.

Alma: The Harmony XL’s versatility is one of its competitive advantages, true. So what’s your favorite part about Alma Lasers overall?

Todd Seelman: We have everything to offer from standalone hair removal lasers to body contouring and fractional facial resurfacing. If a customer wants to focus on one particular treatment, we can meet that need. If a customer wants to offer multiple treatments with one box, well, we’ve got that covered. The company has grown, but stayed true to its commitment of innovation. The machines are reliable and, if there’s a problem, we have a depot-service program in place to resolve it. We provide a great value and, at the same time, we empower practitioners to provide consistent results.

Alma Lasers: It’s easy to see why we’ve grown. What do you predict for the future of the cosmetic laser industry as a whole?

Todd Seelman: The technology is constantly evolving. I think you’ll see improvements all across the board. Body contouring, for example, will continue to grow. At the same time, we’ll be better able to achieve the results that cosmetic patients want with less down time and less pain.

Alma Lasers: It’s going to be an interesting time, definitely. Is there anything else you’d like people to know about cosmetic lasers or Alma Lasers in particular?

Todd Seelman: Yes! Whether you want to decrease pain or expand your offerings, you should find out first-hand what Alma Lasers can do to help you achieve your goals.
